Queer Third Culture Kids: how ‘othering’ forges spaces that can engender the use of ritual as a form of survival and healing
This dissertation explores the cultural and personal significance of being both a TCK and queer, and how the intersections of these identities form a Third space in which survival is accomplished through ritual and alternative faith-based practices that are seen by the mainstream as a commodity, but by those within the space as necessary to existence
